Job opportunities for people with the necessary skills, schooling for workers’ children and area residents, and electricity access for residents near the mill through the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).

Education

An in-house English medium school following the Oxford University syllabus serves the children of the community at nominal rates, while employees are deployed on courses at different institutes to build their core skills.

Farmer Support

Awareness programs on sowing, harvesting and seed varieties, interest-free development loans, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides — plus reward programs for dedicated farmers, with all payments executed well in time.

Environment

Registered with the UNFCCC under the Kyoto protocol for Certified Emission Reduction credits, Almoiz continuously improves its practices to offset greenhouse gases and keep its footprint to a minimum — with a firm belief in reduce, reuse and recycle.

LUMS

The Vice-Chancellor of the Lahore University of Management Sciences hosted a reception to recognize the Group’s support for education — from LUMS and Aitchison College to the Amal Academy and schools in the communities where the Group is present.

Almoiz has partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank’s private-sector arm, to develop, test and deploy progressive new farming techniques across our core grower community — leading to Bonsucro certification and beyond.
